A week to the day after having announced the end of its collaboration with the insurer Helvetia, the Raiffeisen group welcomed on Wednesday a new “strategic partnership” concluded with Mobiliar. The latter should come into force on January 1st.
The agreement provides “the exclusive and reciprocal intermediation of products, as well as the development of services and common product solutions, intended for young people, families and SMEs,” said the banking cooperative in a press release.

A platform for owners
The two companies also aim to develop a common platform dedicated to the needs of homeowners, with the objective of “creating a complete range of products and services” which will allow customers to benefit from a “wider assortment of products harmonized banking, provident and insurance policies ”.
The launch of the platform is scheduled for the first half of 2021. The joint venture, which will be owned equally by the two parties – subject to the approval of the competent authorities – should thereafter expand its activities “permanently with new products and services ”.
