After examining the “very extensive files” of the lower court, the Zurich district court, an earlier date for the process was not possible, the higher court announced on Wednesday. The district court’s written judgment alone is 1,200 pages long.
The former Raiffeisen boss Pierin Vincenz and the former Aduno boss Beat Stocker were found guilty in the first instance. Three of the accused, who are said to have helped Vincenz and Stocker in illegal transactions, were sentenced to conditional fines. A co-accused was acquitted.
