Thiruvananthapuram: Youth Congress state president Rahul Mankoothil will be questioned today in the fake identity card case. The police have asked them to be present at Thiruvananthapuram Museum Station by 10 am. Rahul has made it clear that he will appear before the police. The preliminary investigation report of the case will be handed over by the State Police Chief to the Chief Election Officer immediately.
The investigation is about whether Rahul helped the arrested accused in the case. The police had found that those who were arrested were directly related to Rahul. According to the police, Rahul gave his own car to the accused and helped the accused Feni Nainan and Binil Binu to hide their mobile phones. A detailed interrogation will also take place. Thiruvananthapuram DCP Nidin Raj and other officials will question Rahul. If necessary, measures including custody will also be taken. The preliminary investigation report of the case was handed over to the state police chief yesterday by the special investigation team.
