NEW DELHI: There is a difference of opinion within the party whether Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra from the country’s northeast to the west will benefit the Congress politically. A section is raising the argument that Rahul decided to travel at the wrong time. While the BJP is trying to weaken the India Front as much as possible before the elections, the Congress is concentrating all its energy and attention on the journey without leading a fight against it.
The trip aimed at strengthening the party at the organizational level should have been done at least a few months ago. They also say that Rahul’s bus journey through remote areas of the country when he should be in Delhi to make crucial interventions in matters such as election alliances, candidate selection and strategy formulation will harm the Congress politically.
