Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad. Rahul, who is contesting as a UDF candidate in Wayanad, will submit his nomination papers today. Rahul is coming to Kerala for the first time after the election announcement.
Priyanka Gandhi also reached Wayanad along with Rahul who reached Meppadi by helicopter. Nomination papers will be submitted from Meppadi to Kalpatta as a road show at 12 noon. Leaders including Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal received Rahul. The party workers prepared a grand reception for the leaders who arrived at Meppadi.
With the arrival of Rahul, the UDF campaign in Wayanad will be more active from today. Conventions from the booth level to the constituency level will go into the advertising campaign after they have completed it. UDF aims to turn the road show starting from Meppadi into a show of strength.
