Raheem Sterling called underdeveloped under the care Graham Potter from Chelsea. The English winger was misjudged.
This was revealed by Chelsea legend Pat Nevin after watching the match against Brighton & Hove Albion. In that match the Blues fell 1-4 at Amex Stadium on Saturday (10/29/2022).
Sterling, who played 63 minutes of play, failed to give his best. He failed to make any shots.
That record has extended his lazy appearance since then Chelsea Potter worked. Raheem Sterlingwhich was imported from Manchester City last summer he scored only one goal and made an assist.
It gave Nevin the feeling that Sterling was underdeveloped under Potter. The situation is believed to be threatening the player’s place in the England national team ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
“I was watching Raheem Sterling and I have to say Graham Potter has gotten the best of every player since he has been there, with one exception, Raheem Sterling,” Nevin told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“If he continues to play as he is doing now, he is not even considered for the World Cup. He has had a bad time and today he had a really bad game.”
Total, Raheem Sterling just made three goals for Chelsea since it was bought for £ 47.5 million. While previously at Manchester City, he could have looked fierce by scoring 131 goals.
