The ‘Rahbaniyyat’ concert was a diverse example of art evenings and a documentation of what the late Elias Rahbani presented, who presented to the world hundreds of different musical works that contributed to the richness and sophistication of the Arab arts during the 20th century. Ghassan Elias Rahbani welcomed the audience, expressing his happiness at the commemoration of his father in the city of Riyadh and also thanking the General Authority for Entertainment and the organizing company, Benchmark, indicating that what Riyadh is experiencing today is truly “beyond imagination”. “
The sounds of Rahbani’s music intensified as she started with the song “Jina El Dar”, then “Ya Qamar El Dar” and a variety of songs created by her father, so that the stage shook with Lebanese Dabke on the song “They Killed Me His Black Eyes”. The artists also performed a ‘medley’ which combined Rahbani’s melodies and music. And the night of “Rahbaniyat” attracted several music presented by the late Elias Rahbani, who also contributed to the development and dissemination of Lebanese art to the Arab level, when he more than once led committees to develop talents and introduce them to the Arab world , and further consolidate the culture of art among Arab society audiences through satellite channels.
Interestingly, the late musician Elias Rahbani introduced the world to immortal musical works that contributed to the richness and sophistication of the Arab arts during the 20th century, as he composed more than 2,500 songs and compositions, of which about 2,000 were Arabic and one thousand columns soundtrack for 25 films and series, including Egyptian works, the most famous of which is the music of the films “My blood, my tears and my smile”, “My love”, “The best days of my life » and the series “The Night Player”.
