A state of emergency is in effect in interregional forests throughout the territory of Yakutia.
The most difficult situation is in Aldan, Olyokminska and Ustjmaiska districts, where 60 fires have been registered.
According to the space monitoring data of the National Crisis Management Center, there is smog in 11 populated areas of Ustjmaiska and Olokminska districts.
More than 700 fires have been registered in Yakutia since the arrival of high fire risk weather conditions in the region.
