A fire broke out in a shed on Leechlân in Warten on Saturday evening. Flames rose above the roof and a plume of smoke could be seen in the area. The fire service reported extensive smoke and water damage.
Due to the quick action of the fire brigades from Leeuwarden and Grou, the fire was quickly under control and a large part of the shed could be saved.
The property is not near a house.
