On the Vresselseweg, near the Hazenputten in Sint-Oedenrode, a fire raged on Saturday afternoon on the grounds of a care farm with a thatched roof.
“There are two buildings in this yard. I think the fire is not raging in the living area, but I’m not sure,” says a 112 correspondent. According to him, one of the two buildings is ‘completely on fire’. You can now look inside through the roof.

The fire was discovered around noon on Saturday. Six fire trucks and an aerial work platform were called in due to the raging fire.
Because of the thatched roof, a so-called thatched roof team has also come to Sint-Oedenrode from Gelderland. That team specializes in fighting fires in thatched roofs.
