He said in his conversation with Egyptian star Famous: “The poet Tawfiq Barakat is one of the great poets of Lebanon .. Then he told me that you are your personality and your style is a composer .. So I answered him then I’ll try … ”
He continued: “After that, I repeatedly tried to compose the song and listen to it after recording it each time on a small tape .. Every time I said, ‘No words are more beautiful than melody’, and I tried again in vain. I felt ashamed. the great poet’s insistence on giving me the words in exchange. I composed it myself … ”
He added: “Once upon a time when I was in Cyprus, precisely in 1983 … I came to the lute and began to sing in vain until I fell asleep … and while I was sleeping, I sang its melody in my subconscious … Like a dream song … I woke up and hummed his musical beginnings … “.
And on the reason for the success of the song’s melody and its release as a professional melody by a young man in his prime, the star nicknamed the Superstar attributed the reason to his great love of creation and creativity, and explained that the success of the song “I wish I could hide it” it was easy for him to ask the poet Shafiq Al-Maghribi to put the melodies of the song “Ragheb near you I am” available “.
