The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rafila, said on Wednesday night, on Antena 3, that the action of the control body of the Ministry “was not related to the deaths” but only two administrative complaints.

The minister says he did nothing wrong, but only blames himself for bad communication. He adds the same thing to the Control Group of the Ministry.

“Everyone asked me about his retirement. I don’t think I have any reason to resign over this issue. I think the problem related to the credibility of the health system and especially the medical group is more important than resignation,” said Rafila.

Sorin Luca, head of the control group of the Ministry of Health, which carried out the inspections at the Pantelimon Hospital in April and concluded that there were no problems, he resigned on Wednesday.

“No one is wrong”

About decision of the Disciplinary Commission of Medical Colleges says she provided the truth her members had access to: patient observation sheets and conversations with doctors who worked there.

He says the prosecutors, unlike them, had access to injectomats and it still took them more than a month to gather reasonable evidence about the two female doctors who were arrested.

Rafila was not asked about it The order by which he transferred the control to the Hospital of St. Pantelimon and he didn’t say anything about it. HotNews has asked the Ministry of Health twice that the public can see the Order of the Minister in the case of St. Pantelimon, but he refuses.

Why is the order of Rafila important? Because it shows what control objective the minister has set. What was the agreed composition of the Control Group. The minister also receives and approves the final report. Regarding the dead at St. Pantelimon, judicial sources claim that “the people in the hospital did not want to cooperate at first, seeing how the investigation launched by Minister Rafila, one in which he was largely found, but cover up”.
