Raffi Ahmad believes that there is no prohibition against taking agreements after becoming an official

Raffi Ahmad opens his voice regarding the news about suspension of agreements after being an officer. The news of the suspension appeared due to the activity of Raffi and his wife, Nagita Slavina, together on one Instagram account.

“Yes, there is no prohibition (support). For me, my position is in the cabinet, but it is unstructured,” said Raffi Ahmad in Wijaya, as reported by detikcom, Friday (15/11).

Raffi Ahmad is now the Special Envoy to the President for Young Generation Workers and Arts under the leadership of Prabowo Subianto.

He said that his unstructured position in the Red and White Cabinet allowed him to continue developing his business, while at the same time contributing to programs for the Indonesian government.

“We’re creating unstructured work programs. But for me, the younger generation with arts workers, well, it’s like broadcasting, film arts, dance arts,” he said.

“We can still be there if we want, so we can be closer to everyone. But the most important thing is that the main priority is to fulfill the duties of the sit, so we prioritize that,” he continued.

Meanwhile, the Corruption Eradication Committee has spoken about Nagita still receiving endorsements on social media even though her husband, Raffi Ahmad, has become a Special Presidential Envoy. According to the KPK, Nagita can still perform her duties as long as Raffi is transparent about his assets.

“That’s fine, that’s fine. Basically, just tell me if his assets have increased or decreased, that’s all. That’s his wife,” said the KPK Deputy Chief of Prevention Pahala Nainggolan, when asked about Nagita still receiving agreements, at the KPK building, Wednesday (13/11).

The KPK spoke about this because the social media accounts of Raffi Ahmad and Nagita Slavina were merged into one. Spouses of officers do not have to report their assets, but since Raffi and Nagita have a joint Instagram account, Pahala asked Raffi to be transparent in reporting his assets.

Pahala then reminded Raffi to report his assets. He said that the report was submitted a maximum of three months after Raffi became a Special Presidential Envoy.

“You need, you need, basically, three months at the most since he was appointed. Now he’s been gone for a month, there’s only two months left,” he said. .

Pahala emphasized that there are no rules regarding asset reporting in law. However, state officials must comply as a form of transparency.

Raffi Ahmad was appointed by President Prabowo Subianto as the Special Presidential Envoy for the Development of Young Generation Workers and Arts at the Palace, Jakarta on Tuesday (22/10).

The inauguration also included six other special presidential envoys, including Muhamad Mardiono, Setiawan Ichlas, Miftah Maulana Habiburrahman, Ahmad Ridha Sabana, Mari Elka Pangestu, and Zita Anjani.
