An apartment in the Złota 44 skyscraper in Warsaw, with an area of 480 square meters, has been sold – informed Rafał Zaorski on his profile in X. The apartment, located on the 50th floor, was very popular.
According to “Gazeta Wyborcza”, the buyer is to be a Polish billionaire. However, the price has not been confirmed.
“You’re asking why I’ve been so busy lately and haven’t been active. I was working on a transaction. I sold the apartment. I think it’s a record transaction in Poland,” Zaorski wrote.
According to previous reports, the apartment was listed for EUR 9 million, i.e. over PLN 38 million.
The case of the “epic flip”
Zaorski bought an apartment in Złota 44 on June 2022 PLN 22.9 million, and the transaction was then considered the most expensive purchase of an apartment on one floor in Poland. After the purchase, Zaorski planned an original design that he called an “epic flip.”
He intended to divide the apartment into 20,000 shares and sell each of them for PLN 5,000, which could bring him up to PLN 100 million. However, the Złota 44 Housing Community effectively blocked this initiative, arguing that Zaorski’s actions violate the community’s order and regulations.
The Housing Community also decided to bring a case to court for a compulsory auction of the apartment, which complicated the sale of the apartment. The court blocked the sale of the property until the dispute was resolvedwhich prevented Zaorski from implementing his plans – wrote “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
