Rafael Navarro was one of the main players of the Botafogo on victory over Brusque, last Wednesday, by the Series B of Brasileirão. The forward scored two goals and was instrumental in the 3-0 triumph at Nilton Santos Stadium.
The 99 shirt celebrated the positive result but, above all, Alvinegro’s performance on the field. In an interview with “BotafogoTV”, Navarro was thrilled with the team’s performance.
– Wonderful night for me. Very happy to score two goals and help Botafogo as always. Happy for the team’s performance, we went back to playing the football we used to play. Of course I’m just happy to give three points to Botafogo – he said.
Navarro was the first player to get 20 participations for goals – balls in the net and assists – in the Serie B of Brasileirão. He is the leading athlete in this regard.
