Sidelined from the courts since his brief return to Brisbane at the start of the year, Rafale Nadal is registered for the Doha tournament (February 19-24).
Rafael Nadal back in February? While there were fears of a long-term absence for Rafael Nadal, who has been sidelined since his brief return to Brisbane in early January, he could finally return to the courts in mid-February.
The organizers of the ATP 250 in Doha have, in fact, announced that the former world number one was registered for their tournament from February 19 to 24. “Doha, prepare for the return of El Matador,” the tournament wrote in a message on Instagram. “We are delighted to see Rafael Nadal return to competition” in Doha.
This is the good news of the day! 😍
Rafael Nadal, who withdrew from the Australian Open due to a muscle tear, will make his return during the Doha tournament (February 19-24) which he won in 2013. 🇪🇸
