Javier ‘Vasco’ Aguirre’s technical assistant approached a group of fans who asked for his autograph, but when Rafa Márquez approached to capture his coveted signature he got a tremendous surprise.

And the former Atlas youth player came across a Chivas shirt that one of the fans offered him to sign, generating Márquez’s epic reaction.

“The one from Chivas?” Rafa Márquez asked the fan with disbelief and a gesture to remember. Later, Márquez gave a discreet smile and signed a Mexican National Team shirt.

The Mexican National Team comes to the match against the United States after the bitter draw with Valencia (2-2) in a friendly duel played at the Cuauhtémoc Stadium in Puebla.

The United States team led by Mauricio Pochettino announced the loss of five of its players for the match against Mexico in Guadalajara.

Through a statement, the Stars and Stripes team reported that Christian Pulisic, Marlon Fossey, Weston McKennie, Ricardo Pepi and Zack Steffen will not make the trip to Guadalajara and will return to their respective teams as soon as possible.
