Rafa Benítez left Chinese club Dalian Yifang earlier this year and seems ready to return to the Premier League two years after leaving Newcastle United. The Spaniard will occupy the vacant position of Everton coach after Carlo Ancelotti left the club earlier this month heading to Real Madrid.

Sky Sports News reports that Spanish, former coach of Liverpool and the merengue team among others, it was the number one choice of Everton’s preferences last night and now he has been offered the position.
Everton had also been in talks with the former Wolves coach, Nuno Espirito Santo, to become the successor of Carlo Ancelotti, while David Moyes was also emerging as one of the favorites before signing a new contract with West Ham.
Ancelotti left his coaching position to return to Real Madrid earlier this month after 18 months at Goodison Park. He finished 10th in the Premier League this season.
