The MECH plan remains the only way out of the political crisis. This is mentioned in the official position of the party.
Leader Radostin Vassilev wants all political parties to unite in an anti-corruption majority against Borisov and Peevski.
Time to cut to the bone! Who cares?
However, it is not clear from MECH’s confirmation whether a representative from the party will attend the BSP meeting tomorrow. The listed priorities are a mix of different requests, which the political ones would prefer to reject.
The party outlined 15 specific solutions for specific problems related to improving the lives of the Bulgarian people and finding justice.
1. End the procedure for the selection of the chief prosecutor, through urgent legal changes and the complete invalidation of the SJC with an expired mandate. The immediate arrest of all those involved in the affairs of the “eight dwarfs”, the “notary”, etc. including judges, prosecutors, investigators, members of the SJC
2. Decline of the KPK, KONPI in this form and full investigation of this body.
3. Effective prosecution of corrupt politicians, magistrates and senior police officers, by creating new legislation, a new ministry (justice) with specific functions and amending the Constitution. Convening a National Assembly and drafting a new Constitution of Bulgaria with a completely new structural position for the judiciary. The prosecutor’s office will be part of the executive branch. Restructuring of DANS, MIA and GDBOP.
4. Construction of a new prison for those convicted of corruption and other crimes at the highest levels of the legal and executive authorities.
5. Immediately end military aid to Ukraine and a policy of complete neutrality.
6. Completion of the procedure for the sale of the two Belene NPP reactors to the Ukrainian state.
7. End of the contract between the NPP “Kozloduy – New Powers”, “Hyundai Engineering and Construction” and the consortium “Westinghouse – HDC” and opening a new open and honest procedure with the transparency of the tenders.
8. Nationality of “Lukoil”.
9. Preventing the liquidation of the coal power industry through the rejection of PVA in the “Energy” part, renegotiation or rejection of the entire PVA.
10. Declassification, renegotiation, new method of taxation or termination of contracts for Bulgarian gold deposits. Review of concession contracts by a new Ministry of Justice directorate.
7. Stopping the entry of migrants into the territory of Bulgaria.
9. Removing the immunity of public institutions.
11. Reform in education – abolition of devolved budgets. One or two textbooks for each subject for the whole of Bulgaria.
12. Immediate construction of a children’s hospital within 2 years. Complete restructuring of the health fund and directing financial resources to state and municipal hospitals.
13. Increasing the income of Bulgarian pensioners within 4 years. The average pension should be 1.5 times higher than the minimum wage.
14. Complete cessation of gambling. The only operator that should develop this activity is the Bulgarian Sports Totalizer (BST), so billions of profits from gambling operators will go directly to the state budget.
15. Closure of collection companies and changes in the Law on Private Enforcement Entities (PIE), related to the determination of fees and voluntary payment. Deduct the PSI tax when the debtor pays voluntarily.
These are only a small part of MECH’s policies aimed at Bulgarian citizens and against the GERB and DPS mafia. Who will support in the battle for the liberation of Bulgaria.
Time to cut to the bone! Who cares?
However, it is not clear from MECH’s confirmation whether a representative from the party will attend the BSP meeting tomorrow. The listed priorities are a combination of different requests, which the political parties would prefer to reject.
