His unique perspective is evident in his approach to capturing the city. “Like last year,I tried to continue photographing Prague from a bird’s eye view.I want to capture the city as a larger whole and also show its transformations during the four seasons. However, at the same time, I also try to perceive the city’s details and record events that are intrinsic to Prague,” he adds. This dedication to showcasing both the grand scale and intimate details of Prague results in a captivating collection of images that truly capture the spirit of the city throughout the year.
About the Photographer: radoslav Vnenčák
Radoslav Vnenčák, 47, originally from Kežmark, Slovakia, has called Prague home as 1997. His photographic journey with the city began in 2010, and his work has since graced numerous print and online publications. ”Like many photographers, I have tried different photographic directions, but today I mainly only photograph prague, landscape photography or photograph concerts and social events,” he shares. His dedication to his craft is evident in the rich tapestry of images he creates, showcasing the city’s beauty in all its facets.

My goal is to capture this dynamism,to show not only its beautiful buildings and iconic landmarks but also the pulse of everyday life that flows through its streets. I’m drawn to capturing the city from above, to see how its various neighborhoods connect and interact, how light and shadow play on its architecture.

Radoslav Vnenčák: Absolutely. My work with the Capital City of Prague, Prague City Tourism, the National Theater, and even the Transport company has given me access to unique perspectives and events.
It allows me to showcase the city not only in its stillness but also in motion – during festivals, performances, and even the daily activities of its citizens. It’s been a privilege to document thes moments and share them with a wider audience.

How do you approach photographing the city through different times of the year?
Radoslav Vnenčák: Prague is a city that truly undergoes a transformation with each season.The vibrant hues of spring, the warm light of summer, the golden glow of autumn, and the delicate beauty of winter all offer unique opportunities.
I try to capture the distinct character of each season, the way the light changes, the colors emerge, and the atmosphere shifts. It’s about finding those moments that reveal the soul of Prague in each phase of its yearly cycle.
