Radoslav Revanski – member of the Central Operational Bureau of the DPS and mayor of the Municipality of Belitsa, enters the great competition “Mayor of the Year” 2024.
The competition covers the expired first year of the 2023-2027 mandate of the local authority.
Voting starts at 00:00 on October 1, 2024. and ends at 23:59 on October 14, 2024 on the Kmetnagodinata.bg platform.
It will be available to all citizens of the Republic of Bulgaria. It will not be possible to vote from IP addresses outside the country.
1. Method of voting:
Each citizen can vote for his favorite in only one of the six specialized categories, as well as give his support for him in one of the two main categories – Mayor of the Year and Mayor of Citizens.
Registration for voting takes place through an account on the social network Facebook, an account on Google or with another email, and in the latter case the vote must be confirmed through the specified email.

- Sports and youth activities;

In all 8 categories of the contest, voting is open all the time from October 1 to 14, 2024 inclusive.
There will be three winners in each category – for a small, medium and large municipality, according to its population.
A small municipality – with a population of up to 20,000 inhabitants.
Medium municipality – with a population of 20,000 to 50,000 inhabitants.
A large municipality – with a population of over 50,000 inhabitants.
The types of municipalities are defined as small, medium and large according to the official data of NSI as of 31.12.2022.
The winners will be announced at the official “Mayor of the Year” 2024 ceremony. It will take place on October 17, 2024 in Sofia and will be broadcast on BNT on November 1 at 10:00 p.m.
