Radiohead is ready for a return after a “little hiatus”. This is what the band’s drummer, Philip Selway (56), says.
The British indie rock band has not released any new music since its last album, A Moon Shaped Pool (2016). The band, which also consists of Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood and Ed O’Brien, has not performed live since 2018.
However, that is a thing of the past, Selway said in conversation with The Crow Hill Company. “We actually took a little break. The last show we did was in 2018, but we’re coming back now.”
The band is at a point “where we think: well, we’ve had a break, this is it.” The band would like to “dive in” together again, according to the drummer.
During the break, singer Yorke and guitarist and keyboardist Greenwood founded a new band with drummer Tom Skinner, called The Smile.
