Radio Zürisee is starting May with sharper music, more focus on content and a refreshed visual presence. Among other things, the broadcaster is reacting to the results of a broad market study and a comprehensive internal program analysis, which began in January 2022 and ended in April 2023 with a listener survey. The broadcaster has also given itself a new look for its 40th birthday – including a new claim and logo.
In terms of content, the station comes with a revised music program in the proven breadth over the last four decades, now sharpened and with a focus on the 80s, the 90s and the best to date. The speech component is reduced, the music component is expanded.
The morning show is also given more weight: Monday to Thursday presented by the proven and popular moderators Isabelle Meier and Mario Steiner, supported by an even more actively involved editorial team. The lake broadcaster wants to be even closer to its audience, which was strategically heralded at the end of 2019 with the new studio premises and the radio loft in Rapperswil. The personal closeness to the listener is now also underlined with news in dialect. The morning show team is complemented by Martin Diener and Giulia Staub.
New optics
Radio Zürisee has also given itself a new look – in proven and yet slightly optimized colours. The logo – modernized with high recognition – rounds off the refreshed appearance, while the new claim ‘So tönt Alternation’ underlines the musical diversity. With the new corporate design, Radio Zürisee was supported by the Rapperswil advertising agency Onflow, which developed the new image. The new claim ‘It sounds like change’ was created in cooperation with Christoph Hess from rentahess. You can hear and see the changes from Monday, May 1, 2023.
