July 3 and 4 at 17.05 Latvijas Radio 1 offers listeners the premiere of the Radio Theater – a collection of stories by the writer Juris Zvirgzdiņš “Have a nice day! Almost a love story ‘staged by Laura Groza.
Dainis Grūbe, Maija Doveika, Kaspars Dumburs and Juris Bartkevičs act in the roles. The sound director is Kristīne Zolotorenko, the editor is Dzintra Matuzāle and the producer is Māra Eglīte.
The main character of the story, Daumants, is a very ordinary, but at the same time a special boy, whose parents died in a car accident. For four years, he tossed as a soccer ball from one relative to another. The boy goes to a specialized school, and then to an ordinary school, where after various difficulties he finds not only the understanding of his classmates, but also the feeling of first love. The stunned Daumant manages to become the school’s hero – in a football game against the Catholic school team, he is even the author of both honorary goals.
“Story Collection”Have a nice day! An almost love story “I’ve called an experience for young people. The first day of school in a new school, the first clashes with authoritative school groups, the first feelings for the most beautiful girl in the class, the first true revelations about true friendship, the first initiation rituals in adult life, and more. together with the actors we brought these stories to life, we all started to smile twice as much and be three times less serious. It turns out that adults not only remember these and similar experiences from their lives perfectly, but also remember them with joy and want to linger in them.Perhaps because the current life , for unknown reasons, has become a little stiffer and therefore more boring.
The radio production will be able to delight all those who think fresh. The stories are very, very lovely and warm no worse than this summer’s steam – just emotionally.
Happy listening to everyone who wants to join! “Says Laura Groza, who has her debut at the Radio Theater, as well as actors Dainis Grūbs and Kaspars Dumburs.
