One of Ö1’s main news formats, the “Morgenjournal” at 7 a.m., was also affected by the disruption. Instead of the first contributions from the morning journal at 7:00 a.m., classical music was played. “Due to a technical problem, there was a transmission failure from around 6:00 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. We regret the disruption,” says the Ö1 website.
