The radio program Wild in the Weekend: Ruud vs Olcay, which would start in early November, has been postponed until next year due to the corona virus. A spokesman for NPO Radio 2 told NU.nl. Earlier it was announced that both Ruud de Wild and his partner Olcay Gulsen have been tested positive for the virus and that the broadcasts could therefore not take place.
The exact start date of the radio show is not yet known, but will be due to the broadcasts of the Top 2000 are no longer this year. The Top 2000 starts on Friday, December 25.
Wild in the Weekend: Ruud vs Olcay, in which the couple plays games with a well-known Dutch duo to raise money for charity, was actually supposed to start on Friday November 6 and be broadcast on Friday for four weeks.
Just before the announcement of the show, the news came out that Gulsen had tested positive for the corona virus. The cohabiting couple therefore had to be quarantined. A week later, De Wild also became infected with the virus.
The radio host has now been refurbished and can be heard on the radio again since Tuesday.
