The one in New York is an international radio production contest covering an infinite number of items and radio themes in dozens of languages.
The team from the “Perros de la calle” cycle obtained recognition in the “Best Human Interest Story” category for the interview that the host did to Lionel Messi as soon as Argentina emerged world champion in Qatar.

The program has already won this award five times, the first one 10 years ago, for an interview with the first doctor who treated John Fitzgerald Kennedy after the attempt on his life.
In addition, within the framework of the Radio Nacional festival, it was also highlighted for the documentary that it made on the 40th anniversary of the Malvinas War, for which its filmmakers will receive the corresponding diplomas: Chelo Ayala in Voiceover, Fabián Panizzi in Editing, Mariana Antoñanzas and Liliana Manna in Contents, and in Script, Investigation and Executive Production.
“To the tributes to be carried out throughout the country throughout 2022, Radio Nacional joined with this unpublished Documentary in which the war is told by ‘those with dark skin’, the ex-combatants of indigenous peoples who fought on the front lines of fire , made invisible over the years,” the state broadcaster said on social media.
This year, programs from more than 20 countries participated in the New York Festivals Radio Awards, in all languages.
