On December 1, Radio NABA will celebrate its 18th anniversary with a solemn program prepared by Radio NABA personality, instructor and DJ.
Radio NABA will celebrate its adult holidays more quietly this year, without the usual live concert program in the Radio NABA studio, however, in compliance with all safety conditions, the broadcasters have taken care of the December 1 holiday program listeners. There will be conversations on the air about the history, present and future of radio, there will be various surprises. In this day’s program it will be possible to hear representatives of NABARĪTU teams, programs “Weed”, “Bron-Hit”, “Lightning on the Bottom” and “Student Stop”. There will be many remote conversations and interviews, in which long-term music instructors of the radio, newcomers and new students of the program, as well as representatives of the management of Latvian Radio and the University of Latvia will be heard, even remote guests from Spain and Australia. The evening program will end with the weekly programs “Conexao FM Brasil” and “Skaņu mežs”.
Listeners are invited to follow the program live on the radio, as well as on NABA.lv and Facebook platforms.
Radio NABA’s program is regularly provided by almost one hundred on-air instructors, DJs, artists, on-air and off-air speakers, creating more than 51 programs and podcasts. For 18 years now, Radio NABA has been fulfilling its mission to be an active participant in shaping the cultural life of the city of Riga, being an open media that reflects the processes and processes of culture, urban intelligent environment and lifestyle in a qualitative, lively and dynamic way. Addressing people who are interested in more than just a standard commercial product in both music and information.
But already on the evening of December 3 at 20:00 Radio NABA will host an original production – an 18-year concert performance directed by Ģirts Šulis “Fairy Tale about Skalbi”, live from the Culture Palace “Ziemeļblāzma”. Its musical basis is a selection of interpretations “Skalbe.Dzirnavās” (NABA MUSIC 2019). Imants Daksis, Elizabete Balčus, Juris Kaukulis, Evija Vēbere and Toms Mikāls, “Inokentija Mārpls”, “Orange Holidays” and Roberts Gobzinš will take part in the concert program.
In turn, until December 6, on the portal LSM.lv you can vote for the favorites of the photo competition “Distance” organized by Radio NABA.
