Radio presenter and channel manager Kimmo Sainio says on Instagram that he broke up. Kimmo and his wife Krista had been together for 16 years.

– This has been thought about for some time and the decision was mutual. Difficult, but common. We have nothing against each other. On the contrary, Kimmo writes.

The couple has a child together, who will live with both of them in the future.

– I myself have said from the beginning that you have to tell if your feelings change over the years. No matter how difficult it is and no matter the situation, Sainio continues.

Sainio has had a long career in radio. In 2021, he got a surprise kick from Hitmix.

– I also gained strength from being an example to others. I was able to show that everything can be solved. Many said that getting fired is embarrassing, and they don’t dare admit to being fired. I answered everyone directly that not now. You cannot influence all dismissals yourself, Sainio told Iltalehte at the time.

Since then, he got new jobs and today Sainio works at Bauer Media as the music manager of Bassoradio and Suomiräp.
