Seoul, Nov 2 (JIT).- This Saturday Cuba defined the list of 28 players with which it will face the Premier 12 Baseball Tournament, scheduled for November 9 to 24 in Mexico, Taiwan and Japan.
At the close of the preparation period in which South Korea beat the Cuba team on two occasions (2-0 and 13-3), director Armando Johnson announced the roster, made up of three catchers, seven infielders, five outfielders and 13 pitchers.
Among the figures with experience and greater weight on the roster are the stellar pitchers Liván Moinelo and Raidel Martínez, the major leaguers Yoan Moncada Alfredo Despaigne, Ariel Martínez and Erisbel Arruebarruena.
Cuba will share in group B with the South Korean team itself, the host Chinese Taipei, Japan, the Dominican Republic and Australia, starting on November 13.
The Cubans will debut in the Premier 12 on November 13 facing the Dominican Republic.
