The radio DJ announced last June that he would become a grandfather and now he can actually introduce his grandson James to the world. “As you may understand, I am a ridiculously proud gift dad,” he shares with a sweet video of the newborn man.
James is the son of Gijs’ girlfriend Cher’s daughter, Chanelle. Together they also have two foster children named Milan and Liya. In LINDA. Gijs tells us earlier that he had to get used to his role as stepfather and that he was not immediately keen six years ago. “I had a prejudice, but I still thought about the problems that having foster children can entail. Gijs continues: “But I am in love, and that love ensures that you can overcome everything. Because of that – and because of my love for the children – we can do this.
