Radio celebrity Lutgart Simoens buried in a limited circle in Edegem

Lutgart Simoens was a radio voice for the public broadcaster for over forty years. From 1969 until her retirement in 1993, she hosted the popular solicitation program “Ask is free” every Sunday evening. She died on Sunday at the age of 92 in the Ter Eyke residential care center in Edegem.
