Radim Hromádko, an excellent photographer from Polička, left

Radim Hromádko died at the age of 54. “He was a great photographer, he stood at the basics of Czech skateboarding, he was a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher and a fantastic, pleasant and kind person, whom everyone loved. Anyone who knew him knows that he was overly modest. He photographed both Jagger and Gott, but he never took his photos as art, but as a service to people he wanted to make happy with his whole heart. The more others took pictures, the harder it was to get him in front of the lens. He took care of the most vulnerable at a special school in Polička. And he was great at it, irreplaceable. He always smiled and went head over heels. And he was an enthusiastic pedagogue, “Jan Jukl, director of the Polička Library, recalls on Facebook.

Readers of the Svitavy daily found photographs from concerts, festivals, theater, carnival or even elections in newspapers and on the web. The last time he captured for us was the August concert of Čechomor and the September Mime Fest in Polička. Thanks for everything!
