Radev: The parties should not be attacked recklessly, because this time they have to form a cabinet (video)

We found ourselves next to Uganda, Sudan and Saudi Arabia, said the president about the sanctions under the “Magnitsky” law, who told the student media why he decided to become a pilot

President Rumen Radev called on the parties not to attack recklessly, because after these elections a regular government must be formed.

“I will repeat to the political parties my previous calls – to be very careful, to seek unity around values, around priorities, not to rush to attack each other recklessly, because then they will meet in parliament and will face the most difficult and important task for Bulgaria – to form a government. Bulgaria must have a government after these elections. Definitely. Therefore, whenever the parties treat each other, let them think through this prism how, when they enter the parliament, they will form a government together. How will they unite around these most important priorities for the country. I wish success and an open and reasonable campaign, “the head of state told reporters in Plovdiv, where he visited the Vocational School of Food Technology and Technology.

“I believe that despite the difficult legacy and the existing agreements, the CEC and the caretaker government will make every effort to ensure a machine vote in the upcoming elections. Restoring confidence in the electoral process is the main task. I believe that all necessary steps will be taken. to come back and have fair, transparent and free elections, “he added.

Asked what his expectations are from The Security Council under the caretaker Prime Minister Stefan Yanev, the President replied: “Much of this analysis that is being done and the decisions that are being made are precisely in the direction of the main task of this government – fair, free and transparent elections. I think there will be measures in this direction. .

The president also commented on the sanctions imposed by the United States.

“This is a precedent for the EU. You can see that for 10 years we have been moving towards European development, but we found ourselves next to Uganda, Sudan, Saudi Arabia. The caretaker government is obliged to take measures to minimize the risk for the state institutions, for the Bulgarian citizens in financial terms, “Radev added.

Meanwhile, Radev gave an interview to the student media at the high school in Plovdiv. In it he told how, when was a student in 3rd grade when he got excited about flying from a picture book.

“This profession is very attractive, very risky, in it one works, exerting oneself to the maximum, both physically and mentally, overcoming oneself, brings great satisfaction,” the head of state explained.

He ran for president because he believes he should continue to serve the people.

“This example should be followed by politicians as well,” Radev added, adding that he has not yet retired, although he is right.
