President Rumen Radev has clearly defined what Bulgarian aid to Ukraine could be.
“Unlike other countries that are far from the conflict, Bulgaria has a huge historical diaspora in Ukraine, which is in the zone of military operations. This requires careful and responsible treatment,” the president said.

Bulgaria must provide means for individual protection – bulletproof vests, helmets and other packages for individual protection, the head of state was categorical. He commented on the topic to journalists before taking part in the celebration of the Oborishte district in the capital.
According to him, Bulgaria should continue to help all those who seek salvation from the war, but according to their capabilities.
According to Radev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba expressed satisfaction and deep gratitude for the help and the role of our country in the conflict.
“Mr Kuleba has expressed his gratitude many times. I have not heard the US government appoint former ministers from its spokesmen. I have set expectations for the fastest possible delivery of F-16s. We look forward to US assistance in ensuring combat capability on planes, “Radev said.
Radev rejected President Rosen Plevneliev’s claims that he had refused to meet with the US Secretary of War and ironically said that “Mr. Plevneliev’s mental anguish and thoughts diverge from reality”.
The head of state noted that he had held a number of important and fruitful talks with President Biden, Lloyd Austin and others. at the summit he attended some time ago.
