Prime Minister Erna Solberg met “Rådebank” stars in Bø.
– It was a bit of a surprise. This could have been a scene from “Rådebank”, says Bø robber Silje Shaffe Schaufel to Nettavisen just before Prime Minister Erna Solberg appeared in Bøgata.
– Bø has become a bit hip now, the Prime Minister said during the visit to Midt-Telemark municipality, referring precisely to NRK’s drama series, which is produced by the company Fenomen.
On Monday, the village was visited by both the Prime Minister and two ministers, Nikolai Astrup and Linda Hofstad Helleland.

Recording new season
It happens while the team behind the NRK series is in full swing with the recording of season 3 of “Rådebank”.
Actors Odin Waage and Maja Christiansen took a break from filming to meet the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister was invited to ride in Febakke’s 1970 model Lincoln Continental Mark III, while Schaufel invited ministers in his classic robbery car, a Volvo 940, a car model that also has a central role in the TV series.
“Recently, I feel we have become acquainted with Bø and everyday life here,” said Linda Hofstad Helleland, when she spoke at a press conference on Monday afternoon about the government’s strategy for rural Norway.
The recording of a new season started in May and will continue until the beginning of July, writes the local newspaper Bø leaf. Those involved will not divulge anything about the topic and content. Producer Knut Inge Solbu tells the newspaper that there will be both new filming locations and new characters.
