“In the new ward, patients are no longer in one large room, but all babies have their own room. Parents and their baby are no longer confronted with noises, conversations and any acute situations surrounding other incubators,” says Anke Loeffen. The care manager has been intensively involved in the construction and furnishing of the new NICU since 2018.
