Rada to hold two extraordinary meetings in a row: what will be considered | Politics

Friday, March 19, at The Verkhovna Rada will hold two more extraordinary plenary sessions.

First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk announced this from the rostrum of the parliament.

“Today we have two extraordinary plenary sessions: one – on the agenda and on the Pfizer issue, the second – on three more issues, on which, it seems, votes have already been collected,” the People’s Deputy said.

So, at the first meeting, the deputies will consider draft law No. 5247, which proposes to exempt from liability for the negative consequences of vaccination of vaccine manufacturers against COVID-19 and the involved doctors. Passage of the law is required to receive free vaccine under the COVAX mechanism, in particular the Pfizer vaccine.

At the second meeting in the Rada will consider the bill №4241, which will protect debtors from illegal actions of collectors. Also, the deputies will vote in the first reading for the draft law concerning Ukrainians who have debts on loans in foreign currency.

In addition, the people’s deputies will consider the cancellation of the transition to summer and winter time (bill No. 4201).

As reported OBOZREVATEL, The Verkhovna Rada may go to quarantine due to lockdown in Kiev.
