(Rad Crew): “Advance Wars” has been overshadowed by “Fire Emblem” for the past 20 years, but many of us still remember how cool it was to be able to take a strategy game with us on the Game Boy Advance – and especially one with lots of personality and charm.
In this week’s episode, we talk about the “Reboot Camp” version, which comes with new graphics and sound, but otherwise much is the same. What surprised me the most, however, is how much fun it still is, even without any particular changes to the game itself.
We also talk more about “Jedi Survivor” and the ultra-cozy “Atelier Ryza”, which reminds me of countless summer holidays where you get a hobby project or other and just do it all summer.
Phil Spencer was also recently interviewed by Kinda Funny Games on their show, Xcast, and we discuss his statements from that interview and what it could mean for the future of Xbox both as a console and as a platform.
Enjoy the episode and we’ll talk next week!
