Racing Master, new racing game from Codemasters, is announced for smartphones

For racing game fans, another title will be coming soon for smartphones. This Friday (12), the British developer Codemasters, which was recently acquired by the gaming industry giant Electronic Arts, announcedu new title called Racing Master, which will be available for devices Android e iOS.

The title is being produced in partnership with the studio NetEase (also known as Dahua Studios), and promises to “redefine the genre of racing simulators in real time” for mobile phones. The game is being developed using the graphics engine Unreal Engine 4, and also features Codemasters proprietary technology called EGO, allowing greater visual fidelity of the various vehicles that will be present in the game.

Players will have access to a large number of vehicles from several well-known brands in the car market, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Koenigsegg e Aston Martin. The player will be able to challenge other people online, running in the most varied cities around the world and with the aim of becoming a racing champion.

One of the main points that stand out in Racing Master is its car customization system, where according to Codemasters, it is possible “customize the vehicles with real parts from the main manufacturers, defining the type of direction from casual to simulation for maximum control”.

Racing Master does not yet have a global release date, however, an open beta will begin this March for those living in the US and Canada, although a specific date for testing to start on Android and iOS is still unknown. It was also not revealed whether the game will be free or paid, however, given the latest titles developed by NetEase, Racing Master is likely to be free-to-play, however, bringing some microtransactions for the acquisition of additional content.
