“For independent, popular and different Racing“. It is with his words that three Racing supporters associations (UB90, FSRCS, KCB) come to an end an open letter published on Thursday 14 November. These three associations communicate after meeting with Marc Keller (October 30 last year) while oppose the club’s sporting policy since he took control of the Blue Coe investment fundin June 2023.
“The evolution of the situation cannot come from the club alone”
This “protest movement” means a sing a strike at the start of each game. Despite criticism from other Racing supporters, the three associations do not intend to question this contention: “The evolution of the situation can only come from the club”they consider. and repeating their criticism of time divisions. “Sporting independence was announced by Marc Keller when BlueCo took over the club in June 2023, it is clear that this first promise was not kept, every transfer window proves it”, write the links in the press release.
In the letter, the three associations confirm that they made two requests to Marc Keller at the meeting. “Healthy management and independent sporting strategy from Chelsea” and one meeting with “the person making the decisions, namely the majority shareholder, Behdad Eghbali”. The associations ensure that the meeting with the shareholders was promised to them by Marc Keller in June 2023 and “never happened”.
They go on to explain that the coach and the players “are not targeted by our actions, even if they feel affected”and insists that they will continue to sing and post tifos throughout the season.
To finish the letter, the signature associations remember their love for Racing, ensuring that they create “a minority but a structural part” among the public and demand “At least respect back”. They are sure to continue “behave wisely”, and not accepted “from [leurs] members giving an aggressive look to others in the gallery who express an opinion different from ours.”
