Kovalam> The convener of the Vizhinjam anti-port protest committee Fr. Theodosius deCruz was sued. The action was taken on the complaint filed by the INL State Committee to the police chief following the council’s remarks against Minister V Abdur Rahman.
The case was registered with the remark that “there is a terrorist in the name of Abdurahman”. The case is under the headings of attempted incitement of religious hatred and attempt to create community conflict. While secular Kerala united against the statement, the priest and the Latin archdiocese came forward expressing regret. Wednesday Fr. Theodias made terrorist remarks against Minister V Abdur Rahman.
