Rachel McAdams raves about … Tulia’s Eurovision performance: “They brought me to my knees. I couldn’t listen”

It cannot be concealed that in recent years Poles have hardly been lucky in Eurovision. Ever since 1994 Edith Górniak we managed to take second place in the competition, our representatives did not record any major successes. The only exception was the group’s performance Three of them, which was in high seventh position.

While Roksana Coal i Viki Gabor triumphed in the Eurovision children’s edition, Polish adult representatives in the last two years have not even managed to qualify for the competition finals. Faced with an outbreak of coronavirus for vocal performances Alicja Szemplińska however, we will have to wait until 2021.

In the last Eurovision Song Contest, the band known for folk sound appeared in the colors of Poland Tulia. Although the group dropped out of the competition before the final, it turns out that their performance was remembered by one of the Hollywood stars.

I am talking here about Rachel McAdams. The Canadian actress recently played one of the main roles in the comedy Eurovision Song Contest: History of the band Fire Saga. McAdams and Will Ferrell portrayed members of a fictional duo who dream of winning in vocal struggles.

As part of Rachel McAdams’ promotion of production, she recently interviewed the British portal Heatworld. During the conversation, the 41-year-old mentioned Eurovision performances by Polish representatives.

I love the song “Fire of love” from the Tulia group from Poland! They just brought me to my knees! I couldn’t listen! – she was delighted.

Her opinion could not be unnoticed by the members of the group, who decided to show off the compliments of the actress on social media.

(…) We are very pleased and we wish that your evening would be as nice as ours today! – We read girls from Tulia on Facebook.
