Now that both have broken off contact with mother and spider-in-the-web Rachel Hazes, nothing seems to stand in the way of a reunion between André and Roxeanne. Well, nothing…
Divide and conquer. With that tactic, Rachel Hazes managed to assert herself for a long time as the godmother of the troubled family. By alternately designating André and his sister Roxeanne as darling and scapegoat, she created chaos and discord.
Broke
Take the lingering argument between Rachel and André a few years ago. Roxeanne then loyally rallied behind her mother, as a result of which she also became quarreled with her brother. In 2019 André said to Johnny de Mol: ,,Suddenly my mother and sister no longer spoke to my wife. And because I was standing behind her, I wasn’t spoken to anymore either. I was really broken.”

After four years, André and Rachel made amends. In the meantime, Roxeanne had gotten into trouble with her mother, because she did not want to cooperate with her in a lawsuit against family friend Marieke van Beek. While mother and son were having fun again, Rox was suddenly at odds with both family members.
Trauma’s
In Dear Singers Rox said she had traumas from her lonely and bizarre childhood. Rachel attributed her statements to “the rich imagination of a young girl at the time.” André jumped into the breach for his mother by paying her ‘eternal respect’ on Instagram. “I sincerely hope you don’t let statements from someone who tries to get you down in every possible way.”
Elvis
The current state of affairs is that all three are at odds with each other, as polder ‘Elvis Presley’ confirmed to Eva Jinek. Still, a reconciliation between brother and sister seems closer than ever. Bee a woman André rehabilitated his sister by confirming the stories about their childhood: ,,I heard that my sister had given an interview and then she talked about our childhood and fear of abandonment and commitment. I get all kinds of therapies for that, because we have been through so much at home that it goes in all directions with us.
Moved
In her new single, Roxeanne seems to speak plainly about the distance she has taken from her mother: ‘Now that you don’t limit me, I am free’. It is time for André and Rox to make a new start together and thus fulfill the promise to their father.
