In preparation for the day of all lovers, which is accepted to celebrate the world on February 14, the group “Sweet Faces” has published a new song “Born to love”.
The tandem of the song “Born to Love” by Tomass Klein and Guntars Račs are two of the musicians who were the founders of the eternal side group “Sweet Face” in Liepaja in 1984 – together with Siegfried Muktupāvels, Ainars Virgs, Ivo Fomins and others. “There is no shortage of sadness and sorrow around. Sometimes it seems like nothing else at all. But there is always love somewhere, because that is why we have come to this world. We are born to love, ”says Thomas about the song.
It was originally planned to publish it as one of the songs of the month within the project “12”, but after repeated rewriting of the song’s lyrics, it was decided to publish the song as a single, outside of any projects and concepts. Guntars Račs: “As long as there is love, we will have a reason to live, live, fight and sacrifice. There is nothing more important than that. Whoever comes to this conclusion is another matter. ” In addition to both authors, Katrīna Bindere (voice), Jānis Narkevics Jr. (voice, guitar), Uģis Tirzītis (guitar) and Andris Alviķis (bass).
The premiere of the song will take place on February 5 at Jaunmoku Castle, where the concert of the ensemble “Saldās Sejas” will take place, the first part of Guntars Račs’ new book of poems “365” will be opened.
