Rab and Lowe Alpine open service centers

Equip Outdoor Technologies’ brands Rab and Lowe Alpine have opened a Canadian service center in Quebec. This is part of the company’s strategy to drastically reduce its carbon emissions and achieve Net Zero by 2030.

In order to push the issue of sustainability even further, the two British outdoor brands Rab and Lowe Alpine have launched a service center in Quebec (Canada). Repair and washing services for waterproof shells and Gore-Tex items, insulated gear, sleeping bags and equipment will be offered here. They also offer expert repairs using recycled fabrics and used materials that would otherwise have been discarded. The opening of the Canadian office follows the great success of the existing Rab Service Centers in the UK and the Netherlands, which are seeing tremendous demand for professional outdoor clothing and gear maintenance services. Over 15,000 items were repaired and washed in the UK last year. This is proof that a quality repair versus a new warranty replacement is universally valued by customers.

“We are very excited to open the Rab Service Center in Canada. With our highly experienced team, we can help end users keep their equipment in top condition, increasing its lifespan and reducing the amount of waste. We look forward to it.” , to introduce our trading partners to what the service center offers and to work together to promote a more environmentally conscious use of outdoor equipment,” explains Robert Brunet, Equip Country Manager Canada. The company plans to open more such service centers in the USA and Norway soon.
