December 20th an unknown Threat Actor compromised Ubisoft. The individual had access for roughly 48 hours until administration realized something was off and access was revoked.
They aimed to exfiltrate roughly 900gb of data but lost access.

A hacker gained unauthorized access to UBISOFT and stole various data such as Microsoft Teams, Confluence, and SharePoint over a period of approximately 48 hours, and also attempted to steal 900GB of user data related to Rainbow Six Siege. .
However, the 900GB of data appears to have been protected after the UBISOFT security team noticed the unauthorized access and took away access privileges. I’m glad that we managed to avoid another tragedy hitting the game industry as 2023 draws to a close.
At the time of writing, it is unclear what kind of data was stolen, and UBISOFT has not made any announcement regarding this matter.
