The magical universe, created by JK Rowling first on paper and then transferred to the screens, has become an integral symbol of childhood for millions of people around the world. Some of them were so imbued with the fabulous atmosphere that they really waited for years for a message from Hogwarts or dreamed of visiting Diagon Alley. Alas, the school of witchcraft is a figment of the writer’s fantasy, but visiting places where the spirit of magic lives is quite real – just visit the filming locations of the franchise. For example, Leadenhall, an indoor market located in the old part of London, served as the scenery for Diagon Alley. Since the Harry Potter films came out on the screens, the tourist trail has not overgrown here – the store, through the door of which the characters got into the Leaky Cauldron bar, is especially popular with those who want to be in the world of magic. Those wishing to see the magical Gringotts Bank live can go to the Harry Potter Museum in Watford, where its exact copy is located, and the two-story cottage on Privet Street, where Harry spent his childhood, is located in Martins Heron, Berkshire.
