‘Quito Seguro’ a fair for the Community – Quito Informa

The ‘Quito Seguro’ Fair, of the General Secretariat for Security and Governance, visited the El Arbolito park in the morning and afternoon of this Tuesday, August 10. The event was attended by the Inclusion Secretariat, the San José Board of Trustees, the Metropolitan Control Agents Corps and the Metropolitan Transit Agency.

Carolina Pérez, Metropolitan Director of Governance Management, stated that this fair aims to “bring municipal services closer to the community, that they take ownership of them knowing the work in the territory that municipal entities carry out for the benefit of all.”

Leonor Cuja, a neighboring beneficiary, highlighted the importance of holding these fairs, since they allow us to learn about municipal management; as well as, obtain an adequate address to access psychological care services in situations of intrafamily violence.

Amparito Estrella, representative of the Inclusion Secretariat, invited citizens to come to these citizen fairs to receive timely information regarding the promotion of rights.

José Revelo, a neighboring beneficiary, indicated that “the municipal services offered are useful and interesting, since adequate information is provided to access them.” In addition, he invited all citizens to visit and participate in these fairs.

Metricos, Salvador Gel and Valentina Mascarilla shared recommendations to avoid the increase in infections with the proper use of the mask and physical distancing. Meanwhile, the Circo de Luz project, of the ‘San José’ Municipal Board, presented music, dance and juggling activities, together with girls and boys attending.

Your well-being is our priority. We work in an articulated way for a #QuitoSeguro.
