Quirós acknowledged that there will be a third dose of the vaccine and estimated when the pandemic will end

The Minister of Health of the City of Buenos Aires, Fernán Quirós, recognized for the first time that a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine will have to be applied, probably before autumn of next year. He also projected that at that time COVID-19 will become “a virus that circulates regularly.”

“When we get a significant vaccination rate, maybe before fall, we can do a booster dose. When we are with people vaccinated with a booster dose, the virus will probably enter an endemic format, which does not make peaks of many cases and becomes a virus that circulates regularly, especially among young people who are being born and growing who are not vaccinated but with a low impact significance ”, he explained.
